Introduction & style...

Eye-D is a Dutch drum & bass DJ/producer from Goes, a small town in the south of the Netherlands. Eye-D released his first drum & bass record on Kultbox Records in 1998 and he has been one of the most successful producers from the Dutch scene ever since, with releases on seminal labels such as Ruff-Teck and Citrus and numerous collaborations with fellow Dutchmen DJ Hidden, Black Sun Empire and Noisa, and the American Evol Intent outfit. These international activities have resulted in many record releases on foreign labels and plenty of DJ performances across the globe. Eye-D's background in hardcore/gabber results in some unique flavoring in both his DJ sets and his tracks. Expect his sets and tracks to be hard-edged but still very effective on the dancefloor.

History...

Eye-D started out as a hardcore producer in 1992 and didn't really get serious about DJ-work until 1996 when a promoter asked him to play a DJ set at an event in Amsterdam. Although he had done live PAs before, Eye-D initially wanted to stay away from spinning, but he was instantly hooked after his first set. Eye-D has since played at events across the globe in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Luxemburg, Scotland and the United States.
